The organization chart is an Organogram that gives information about the management chain system. The organization chart is a display that shows the internal structure of an organization, including all levels, reporting responsibilities, and relationships among them. Quality Department Organization structure of the garment industry
QA ( Quality assurance) structure is simple and the same everywhere in the garment factory. The quality department starts from the director or GM level and ends with the Quality inspector. Quality control should be systematic, and a manufacturing factory can not be sustainable without controlling quality. Here I am sharing a quality organization structure of the garment industry.

Let’s say the garment industry, the QA department is responsible for making sure that the end products are up to the required standards and meet customer satisfaction. The organizational structure of these departments often differs according to the specific requirements of each company. However, this is a basic version of the hierarchy in QA departments in the garments and fabrics industry:

- MD/ Chairman– They are not directly involved in any operational activities but follow up on the customer quality reports and take management action when required.
- CEO– Chief executive officer, the highest designation after owner.
- Director– Some Factories have quality directors who give important direction to develop quality.
- Quality AGM/ GM– Head of all quality staff and managers.
- Quality Manager- Quality Manager is a responsible position in the garments industry
- GPQ / RQS- GPQ and RQS work to implement buyer quality requirements; they work as buyer representatives on behalf of the factory end.
- Quality executive/ Officer: They work with managers, Quality staff, Quality inspectors, and workers
- Quality In-Charge: They work with managers, Quality staff, Quality inspectors, and workers
- Quality controller– Every section has a quality controller (QC) to work at the root level.
- Quality Auditor: Quality auditors do lot-wise AQL audits. They are the barrier to passing goods to another section; they have to pass each lot through their audit process.
- Quality Inspector- Quality Inspector (QI) is the lowest grade of the Garments quality department. Quality inspectors’ jobs are to do garments in any section. All inspectors are considered workmen
This setup makes sure quality stays high at every step of making clothes, from the raw materials to the finished items. The QA department plays a key role in cutting down on flaws, lowering costs, and keeping customers happy. In the garments factory, qa organization chart is very important.
