  • Taking care of marketing & merchandising, responsible for merchandising & production management, including sampling, fit & preproduction approvals, fabric & trim approvals, testing, and gold seals, working with QA’s for timely inspection & delivery, updating the buyer & the production status.
  • Garments costing, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyers as well as local buying agents independently from inquiry up to shipment.
  • Able to solve the problem and organize the task (TIME & ACTION calendar) to meet the deadline
  • Analyzed the market trends and buyer requirements, and developed creative and innovative samples for marketing.
  • Coordinate with buyers/Agencies for approval of fabric Hand Loom, Strike off, Lab dips, Trims, lab-testing, etc.
  • Conducted regular meetings once a week with the Production Planning department and production management department with a view to updating the daily activities.
  • Tracks development and production merchandising issues. Follow up on trims & fabric deliveries to make sure in in-house on time with good quality and quantities.
  • Monitoring the subordinates to ensure the booking of, fabrics & accessories. As well as daily production status, trims & fabric inventory, and supporting the factory to do production smoothly.
  • Developed Sample – as per buyer product package/ specifications, Approval of Line Review Sample, Fit Sample with comments, Size Sets, Marketing Samples, Pre-Production Sample and Shipment Samples etc.
  • Garments costing, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyers as well as local buying agents independently from inquiry up to shipment.

A Merchandising Manager helps juniors with any cost and consumption of woven. If required sourcing and collecting all necessary accessories from local accessories within an assigned time.
